Completed in 2006, this 1,900 square foot one-story house with a 600 square foot detached guest room/garage is one of my personal favorite projects. The program is divided into three connected gabled masses. One for the public space including the kitchen, dining and living spaces, and the other two for the entry and three private bedroom spaces. All connected with the wraparound porch.

This site was a challenge being located right at the point where Left Fork and Right Fork merge. This high visibility location drove the one-story concept and the massing to maximize privacy and minimizing the impact of the traffic on both sides.
