This project includes a two bedroom, 2,600 square foot house with a 600 square foot detached guest room/garage and a poolhouse. A lot of care was taken to place the building to take advantage of the prevailing ocean breezes and sunlight, in addition to saving as many of the existing trees as possible.  The decision ultimately made to keep the main building one story to further reinforce this connection to the land.
